Dealing With a Pain in the Ass Client

Me thinks you aren't being creative enough. Offer more payment options.

edit: others already recommended alternate payment options. Still, you should have thought of that. If you don't provide convenience for your customers, how can you expect them to be happy, content customers?

Pic of #2 is probably the only decent angle, btw..

I very much appreciate the advice.

Up until this point, I have been offering mostly PayPal with Western Union thrown in for clients who kind of establish themselves as being reliable and have larger amounts of money to send because I'm working with them on a larger scale. I've looked into accepting credit cards for a while and never really felt like I needed to pull the trigger since so many people use PayPal, but I think I'm going to make time this week to get that straightened out.

If you are missing out on 5% of your clients, that is a 5% lower conversion rate than your competition. Those things add up very quickly when it comes to competitive advantages.

I'm not saying to inundate them with options, present the most popular option first, but your clients shouldn't have to go to money changers to get you paid.

There are many 3rd party processing companies that will allow you processing for a very small monthly fee.

I think because so many women are huge nowadays, tastes are changing as a result. There's not enough women who are fit to go around so dudes are starting to look at the fat chicks out of necessity.

I see morbidly obese women with three kids and think, "what the hell?", someone had to have had sex, repeatedly, with that beast. WTF is wrong with people? mituozo, you're out of line brah.

In regards to the money issues, payment by bank wire should be your first option on any invoice.

It's not as much as 5%, it's only 5% of those that convert. So at a 10% CVR, it'd drop to 9.5%, on 5%, 4.75%.

And definitely #1 (even before seeing Mituozo's pic)

Let me extrapolate:

1,000 Clicks @ $5 = $5,000
@ 9.5% conversion = 95 clients = $52.63 CPA
@ 10% conversion = 100 clients = $50 CPA

If gross sales per customer = $100, profit margin = $70

Than net profit per customer would be $20 after CPA @ 10% conversion and $17.36 @ 9.5% - That is a difference in net profit of of 13.15% - Conversion optimization can have a higher increase in profit in niches where the margins are lower.

Increasing conversions a little can mean a BIG increase in net profitability.

And I didn't finish extrapolating from that data. You can crush a competitor by increasing that net profit and thus be able to afford a higher cost per acquisition and increase the CPA of the overall niche.

When I get your money, then I will give 2 fucks about you.

send him that, he is Russian, he will get it.

Price him out of your services. If he's still willing to pay, then try it out. But you're probably better off.

I have Russian clients who pay with Paypal, and their payments show Russian addresses.

All my clients are a joy. So I can't add much to that.

#2 looks a lot like my wife- so I guess I'll pick #1.

Sure, but then you're not accounting for extra time/hassle/any future problems that come up - if the average business could select certain clients and turn back time so they'd never done business with them, I'm sure the money would come in elsewhere, with less headache.

Based on your figures, if OP spent the 'headache customer' time on conversion optimisation, I'm sure he could get another .25%, or at least lower CPAs in another way, by finding cheaper traffic sources, etc.

#2 is real fat now. not a good look at all. she was pushing it before and went over the edge unfortunately. always dangerous with those types.
