WTF!?!?

But, India has very less divorce % than the western countries that allow the practical life you meant.

So, your 'male dominated' culture wins when it comes to family life. And, it's not male domination/chauvinism when you compare India with Muslim countries.

I am not an Indian but a conservative Hindu so basically my culture is pretty same.

A low divorce rate does not mean that Indians in general have a good family life. Two consenting adults should be allowed to separate if a marriage is failing and I don't see that happening very often in 3rd world countries because:

1) Male-chauvinism.
2) Most females are stay-at-home moms, have no income and kids to support. Welfare programs are almost non-existent for single parents.
3) No alimonies.
4) Social pressure from culture. Look down on widows.
5) Arranged-marriage. This is still popular in India if I'm not mistaken.
6) Because men get to go out, they tend to cheat, it's the wife that usually gets shoved up the ass and wants a divorce but can't afford a good divorce lawyer.

Did you know that Saudi has the lowest percentage of rape because statutory rape and spousal rape are not considered as rape? and in the US they are? Just food for thoughts buddy.

Love marriage is considered as a SIN.. ! Need I say more? I have seen people killing their own daughter for getting married to her long term committed boyfriend.

Valentine's Day is banned in many Rural areas and the treatment goes worse. Start watching from 2 mins.. it's a Girl they are beating to death..

I just think many Indians are a mix of desperate and hungry. They really want success but lack understanding and finesse in doing business. They're a young business nation compared to the west in that regard. They probably also think westerners prefer a direct communication style, since most Asians are very polite and reserved in dealing with strangers. One of the things I dislike about trying to do busines with Indians is that they always push, push, push for the sale and the money with no understanding that most people prefer to learn a little more about who they're doing business with before handing over the money.
