Ok, let's see if we can put this together then. You want:

1. To be taxed more, so that more money can be spent on
2. Paying down the debt.

Is this right? You actually want to send Obomba, Pelosi and Boehner more money than they already steal from you in order to... Waste 100% of it on things that benefit them and never, ever you?

You could always write them a check and do so, by all means go right ahead. They might give you a medal.

But even if you sent them a trillion dollars, how can you possibly rationalize that one single penny of it would be spent on paying down the debt given their track record?
