PrestaShop and Zen-Cart is Interesting CMS for e-commerce websites too. But, I prefer OScommerce or Joomla+virtuemart when develop a shopping chart site.

I think you offer just few shopping cart. I create templates on the base of PrestaShop, Zen Cart, TomatoCart, osCommerce, VirtueMart, HikaShop, osCMax, CreLoad

Tried and true, PHP/MySQL with HTML5/CSS3 and some JQuery for a frontend.
Custom solutions are sexier.

Prestashop or Interspire are good choices for ecommerce sites CMS , and easy to use also .

today wordpress & joomla that you said cms had plugin for ecommerce, so there is no border again between cms & ecommerce
