I get on yahoo to check my messages and this guy randomly IMs me asking me if I want to buy stolen CCs, not sure how he got my id but I decided to go along with it and then dickroll him at the end.

anyway just though I would share the little fun I had with there. He came back and offered me $1000/1000 ccs lol. Anyone know how they get access to all these cc's? I would be pissed if mine was some how on there.

Russians steal those things like crazy through keylogging stupid people who don't protect their pc's. He won't use the CC's because a lot of times in whatever country they are in it is easier to just sell the cards than try to reroute the money and change the currency. A lot of times they just use Paypal to invoice themselves and use the credit cards for $500 a pop.(which paypal is a shitty service which can be hacked easily).

Like the above said, sometimes its just easier to sell a bunch of numbers, since that way you don't really have to care about accuracy or not, you're geting paid either way.

oh, they do try to... a sick amount of fraud comes out of Vietnam... tis why many affiliate programs do not accept webmasters from Vietnam, all you get is fraud from them...

Lots of fraud originating from overseas call centers too.. They caught operators in India working for some of the largest banks in the world doing customer service, collections, etc., SELLING these raw lists of names, addresses and CCs.. Quite an eye opener..

They obtain the CC data through a myriad of methods, fishing on unsecure networks/PCs is just one..
