Did Gmail Fuck up Today - Moved Emails Around?

I thought at first my email got hacked or something happened but after seeing it in different email inboxes I realized it wasn't just me.

I have a handful of emails received from the 29th - November 1st seemed to have dissapeared from the main inbox but I have only been able to recover or find them when doing a search for the email and moving it back to the inbox.

It seems as if Google is automatically filtering and moving emails around albeit not on purpose.

Any ideas on how to fix this, why this happened, and if anybody else has experienced a similar issue within the last 24 hrs?

nope - they did change the compose UI

sounds like a label issue - do you utilize labels or use filtering.

post on the gmail help forums - everytime i have an issue it gets answered within a few hours.

all I saw today was a stupid new reply/compose email box popup window wtfwasthatbbq

edit, do you use the space theme? Maybe a black hole ate them.

Anyway, when it comes to sex appeal the web version of Outlook > Gmail.

just posted on the Google groups message board. Really odd how random messages where filtered out.

If anybody else experienced this (as I noticed it in 2 different gmail accounts). Please post and get ridiculed here.
