hello everyone, first time poster here- hopefully of many. :music07:

i've been trying to run some of my first campaigns in direct linking method on yahoo sponsored search. after spending about $56.80 in clicks, i seemed to think that i found the profitable keywords through sub id tracking, but as i launched a new ad group with the 11 or 12 keywords that converted, i haven't gotten a conversion yet after about 50 clicks. anyone have some general information i can go to read and beef up on direct linking? i can't seem to find much anywhere. :playboy_sml:

i'm also looking for websites that are FREE and offer tutorials (free reading) on how to be successful in ppc advertising.

this site seems great, and i'm glad to be here!

what kind of vertical is hte offer in? mobile, submit? payout range. this shit varies yo. go check out historic conversion rates at your network. chacnes are you don't have significant data. is it 50 clicks PER keyword? was it a time of day thing?

not enough data bro. you'd need to test at least 5-10x payout per keyword. but don't use that as a rule of thumb; you need sufficient clicks too. with zips i'd probably do about 30 clicks per given variable. so 30 per keyword if you're direct linking.

if you're ballin on a budget, focus on a small handful of keywords at a time. notice how I didn't say long-tail. you'll die of old age waiting for impressions. "best buy giftcards" for a giftcard submit, etc.

hit me up on aim if you're still struggling.
