Do you have a favorite Wordpress theme?

I spent the last hour looking at wordpress themes and I must say that most of them are pretty ugly. What do you guys look for when selecting a theme or do you create your own?

1) I have an image in my mind of the layout I want for my site.

2) Browse themes till I get something close.

3) Then modify it to fit my needs.

9 time out of 10 you won't find exactly what you want.

I like hemingwayEx. I have it on my Blogs though i keep rotating themes to make it look different.

I vote with illkity. You're never gonna find exactly what you see in your mind, unless you hire it done. Find something close and mod.

I'll probably hire him for some original design.

I agree with illkity, it's enough to modify. For instance you can check this stuff

I like the simple ones. Nothing to fancy. But my wordpress design that i made was one of the top 50
