I had perfect vision until a few years ago, I wear them now for reading and sitting infront of the computer all day. I definitely think staring at a tv or a computer screen for a majority of your day will worsen your eyesight after awhile.

I never like to use glass in my eyes. But use glass against my wish. I believe it is a result of being in front of computer screens. During early 2003, I have a CRT monitor and that's the reason of my glasses that I have to use.

Contacts or glasses 100% of the time since.
Glasses from 5th grade up until 10th grade when i started contacts.
Mostly contacts now as my vision is so terrible that when i wear my glasses for too long I get splitting headaches.

This happens because my peripheral vision is blurry while my straight ahead vision is 20/20.
It's a mindfuck.

Yes glasses. My optician said that sitting alot behind the computer doesn't affect your eye sight but mine did get bad since I started sitting alot behind the computer.

Noticed I was getting minorly nearsighted at age 20. Barely changed over the next 20 years.

Mild myopia runs in the family.

Some mornings I can see like an eagle (without contacts) for an hour or so.

I wear $250 glasses to all client meetings. They make new clients think you're smarter than the hipsters they've interviewed previously.

Also, I'm not allergic to poison ivy... so there's that.

Don't have glasses and have perfect vision... 1/3 of my life was in front of the PC... I told my optometrist I spend 15 hours a day on the PC and she said not to worry about it. Just to take breaks once in a while and focus in the distance, or go for a walk... which is what I do.

I've been wearing glasses since the second grade. I've actually had the same prescription for the last several years and spend tons of time in front of the computer.

They tell me that your eye sight doesn't change much from 20-35, and that's the prime age to get lasic surgery.

Unless you are sitting closer than 2-3 feet from your monitor, you probably won't have any vision impairment from working at the computer.

I used to wear glasses around 3rd/4th grade for reading only, but the strain went away after a few years. I don't have any problem focusing on objects near or far now, I'd even say I have perfect vision, but my eyes get fatigued really quickly sometimes.

I wore glasses for a long time then switched to contacts. Then after a long period of time having my contacts pop out and shrivel up on the floor by the time I found them I decided to get lasik.

Almost 4 years later and my eyes are fucking A+. I should have gotten lasik a long ass time ago so... LASIK FTMFW
