First of all its annoying, and secondly it might fall in the mousetrap, back button remover etc category. Those can get you penalized, and a nice "This site may harm your computer".

What's a good SEO way to encrypt just a a script on a page?

I get that the savviest will figure it out its the 98% of users that haven't a clue I want to limit from gaining my scripts.

Nevermind.

I see one can just highlight an area to encrypt just a postion of a pages html.

Does having just a portion encrpyted SEO poorly?

Does this no-right-click app (which I haven't heard of, will have to see what it's worth) stop the CTRL + U (for Firefox)?

No, and it also doesn't stop left click drag and drop when people try to use it to "protect" images. It is completely worthless and annoying.

Another way, although still useless for anyone with 2 working brain cells is to have a layer above your page with a transparent gif covering the whole page. It's still a dumb thing to do and people will hate your site for it.
