Im not sure if someone is actually truly interested in the sites in my sig or someone is just being a jackass but I have noticed in the last couple days that im getting a shit load of visits from wickedfire, according to G Analytics some of my sites are getting 50% of their pageviews from wickedfire referrals...

Anyone else seeing stats like this as of late?

For awhile, when I posted more often, my only traffic was from WF!
WF members are curious and like to check out what each other are doing, enjoy the traffic, but don't expect clicks!

I don't...I have sigs turned off. That's why I hate it when someone asks a question about there site and they direct you to their sig. I just move on 'cause I'm to fucking lazy to turn sigs back on for a second to check a site.

Come to think of it...I can't remember what is in my sig.

Exactly what Jan said. I enjoy seeing what other people have, because it may inspire me to do something else. But hell no I won't click your ads unless they truly, truly interest me.

Adding your link to a sig on a marketing forum will not usually get you leads or sales. It will only help for inbound links. Even then, most forums have a nofollow tag.

How much will it really help? Ive heard people say it before but comon, 99% of the forum threads are a PR0 and ive heard that Google gives less weight to forums because they have pretty much become link factories for people putting them in their sig..

^ Remember Google is NOT the only game in town. Links are links are links and every visit from a forum might not be from a member but from a guest who liked your post or your signature might have what they are looking for.

Sometimes I get bored and just click on all the links I see. For no apparent reason.

On a more serious note, I actually tend to click on sig's quite often, because just like everyone else, it's good to see what others are doing, because there is no better way to learn from someone than to watch them do something good.

ya I'll click on them if it catches my eye. (Note: make your signatures appealing!). Every once in a while I'll find some cool new blog posts and sites.
