does the right ppc make the difference?

hahaha nice guys yeah I can tell you first hand that the ghost niche is getting me no where. At least when I DO get cigar clicks I get more than an f'ing penny.

I'm thinking weight loss or fitness and well I don't know what else.

Just as I suspected, it may not be 7search at all. I need to pick a niche that the every day person would want to visit. like.. knitting or something lol

I find that finding the niche is 80% of the work. The 20% is the easy stuff - setting up the site, finding the right keywords, etc.,

urghs... 7 search traffic never did any good for me.

Stay away.

well originally they were started simply as a way for me to express my interest. But I was starting to get some good natural hits and decided that maybe I could monetize them. I've setup a couple niches that aren't exactly interest but I'm not really done with them.

What I learned early on in the game - fuck your interests, go where the money is. I think I'm a terrible marketer because I can't lie worth shit. I've tried to hard to push crappy e-books but the angel looking over my shoulder keeps reminding me of all the pissy e-books, memberships and shit I've bought over the years and I can't bring myself to torment other newbies in the same way.

I recently got suckered into buying Blogging to the Bank. What a piece of shit. Nothing new in it at all - I knew 99.99% of what was in there.

Just looking at what ML an others are pushing can give you a good idea of what to push. Health never fails - there is a huge demand for this area, and the thing is that there are dozens of different verticals to tackle and each has so many branches that you always have something to work on.

Good advice TheMoMan. I'm starting to realize that as well. What I can't figure out is what's the difference between 7search traffic and Adwords or another reputable company like that?

Yeah bro, health is where the money is, piss the cigars and ghosts off.

So here's what I'm thinking. the game plan. fuck doing ads. It simply isn't working out for me thus far.

I'm going to find a niche, I have 2 in mind. Basically I asked my girlfriend what she looks up online and it seems to be what a lot of people have posted on WF as decent niches.

Build a site with plenty of content and even videos and use affiliate programs to earn revenue. (If you still think I should do maybe one or 2 adsense ads, please tell me).

I plan to use gTrends for keyword building and I do have the AdWord tool at my disposal. Any other free or near free tools you guys would recommend?

I have money on 7search still that I just want to use up and now on AdWord. Use them to drive traffic to my site. I will also be partaking in some of the social bookmarking submission services here at WF (yay or nay?). They have seemed to help my other sites, even if only a little.

Sit back and see what happens. Any other advice?

I agree with everyone else (find a better niche/offer)

But, you dont mention much about the cigar site. Is it any good? Does it get much organic traffic? Good domain/age? etc. I just did a quick search and got over 6 million results for cigar. I dont know much about cigars but there must be a demand. The couple I looked it had affiliate deals with the online sellers. If you have traffic it may just be your ads are crap, try visiting the main players in cigar sales and seeing if they have affiliate progs. If you dont have a good site but do have a good/aged cigar domain consider selling it to one of the bigger sites and getting into a better niche.

Giving up on PPC after a week because you ran shitty offers on shitty traffic isn't a good idea. You'll end up quitting making niche sites after a week with that same attitude.

Try use something solid as ppc channel, like adwords (I know they are strict shit, but they still no1, yahoo, msn) as well as some facebook/myspace, all those second-tier... Uhh...never heard anyone making money with them.

Ghosts ? Cigars ? Get a little bit real.

hahaha I know what you mean seolinker. Aeisn, it's been MONTHS not a week.

But I am trying a new niche, with $2.63 leads. Out of 68 clicks, I've gotten one signup. I am using 7search, since I still have money on my account there. That's, I think, a 1.5% conversion rate (factoring in what I've spent so far to get that one click). However I can't make a real determination yet. I'll let it run for about a month, see how it goes.

I am worried that doing leads may not make me real money. But at the same time I'm not sure how well selling a $40 product will roll over either. At least leads, as far as I know, doesn't require a real commitment from people. So my thought is that people are more likely to do that.

Probably just the number of users using 7Search. Early on in my PPC learnings I used Kanoodle...

Here is an oooold post about Kanoodle. I've not used again them mainly because I did not know what the heck I was doing initially and probably wasted a lot of money.

with a few updates.

I tried to Google the market share 7Search has but didn't find anything...
