This is exciting news. I hope they find a compound for humans sometime soon.

Completely stop brain cell death? Does that mean the mice will become infinitely more intelligent over time?

Is it not that cells are supposed to die? They begin to mutate over time as dna of a cell changes by internal and external influences.

When a cell does NOT die you have problems. Think cancer.
 
I am always skeptical when reading these kind of articles. Nearly every days some headlines reveal that there have been universal cure for cancer and AIDS discovered, but still...
 
Man if you were to believe everything you read on the newspapers, every single disease has been cured. Too bad we're still dying.

Why the fuck are we not augmented and disease free yet?
