As we all know one of the biggest pitfalls in this industry is information paralysis.
There is a tremendous amount of information out there that is incredibly valuable to us as internet marketers.
From articles, ebooks, forums, to just general web browsing you are doing yourself a disservice if you are not actively learning new shit.

Personally, a lot of the success I have had has been a result of just being a voracious web browser. General curiosity, browsing nothing in particular. Picking up little things here and there, keeping note of good info and marketing techniques others were using that I liked.

Lately, with so many projects lined up. The last thing I want to do is sit in front of the computer any more to browse the web and educate myself. I also don’t want to forsake the interest and curiosity which got me here in the first place.

I was wondering how you guys split up your time and find balance between working and learning?
Do you guys specifically designate time to learn shit and investigate new promotional methods?

Some ideas I had:

Designating different devices strictly for different uses.
-Computer station strictly for business purposes
-Maybe an ipad for educational stuff, web browsing, watching videos, etc.

I was also thinking about designating 1 or 2 days out of the week just to specifically be “learning” days to stay up to date, browse forums, and explore new promotional methods.

How do you manage?

set deadlines, factor in learning time into each project and just do it. I always learn so much better when I'm using it straight away on a real world project and it seems to sink in further. Plus each time you do a similar project the time required comes down.
