he only owns 20% of beats, so he isn't a billionaire yet. peasant ass nigga

Beats by Dre proves that you can have a piece of crap product, slap a high price tag on it and get big celebrity endorsements and people will think you have a high end product. Marketing FTW!

1 - He been putting million dollar checks in the bank, so if you add those millions hes been making off music royalties, Shady aftermath deal, the few years or revenue off beats and this new sale... he's definitely out of your tax bracket.

2 - Hip hop musta made you think that word should be able to fly out your mouth but lets call a spade a spade.. chances are you're white and like so many folks out in Internet land don't let the power of those keys you're tapping go to your head..

I'm as confused as anyone on this deal.

Apple tends to do shit in house. It make sense to acquire Beats for the music platform, however Apple is not the kind of company that has 3rd party associated brands. By all logic 'Beats' headphones, will become 'Apple' headphones. Apple tends to not half ass at the top level, so I could hardly think they will be even remotely the same headphones as they have a terrible reputation in the audiophile community. Tim Cook may prove me wrong, ya never know.

Hmm, I dont get it.

If he is married, he only needs $228,801 to be in the top tax bracket. Anything else he needs to be at most $457,601.

$229k for married people is rather easy to obtain. W

Why would the sale of Beats put him in another tax bracket if he is already a millionaire?

If the poster is already pocketing $229k a year and married, how would Dre be in a different tax bracket than the poster?

it's called sarcasm you social retard. also, peasant ass nigga spotted.

With the sale of his 25% ownership of Beats + his current net worth he'd be worth around $800 million, give or take 50 mill. Not a billionaire, but definitely won't be looking like this ever again:

Funny you posted this. When I first saw the acquisition news this image popped into my head pretty much instantly. Pretty cool he went from being clowned on to being virtually a billionaire.

We wouldn't have Eminem if it weren't for him, guess he has a nose for what will hit.
