Dream Vacations

I have my eye on this one:

Great Exuma vacation house rental - Private Beachfront Home - Ocean Views, near Golf, Spas, Marina

But looking at ones in Nassau right now because the flight would only cost $200-300. That way I can pay for a week and tell my friends they can come as long as they can pay the airfare.

Looks nice, but I noticed in the amenities list "Internet Connection". I thought you were going on vacation? lol

Makes financial & travel time sense to look at Nassau.

Where ever you go, be sure to really enjoy yourself and re-charge your bio-batteries.

I'm pretty keen on this place...

and the other end of the beach looks like this...

Halong bay looks much nicer and is less touristy (provided that you choose the right boat). But the beach in VN is mediocre compared to Thailand & Indonesia.

@droplist
if you are keen for something exotic try balooning in Bagan - Myanmar.

I don't know how much these go for, but I wouldn't buy one. Why would you pay to be sandwiched between neighbors and you need to look at even more neighbors across the way.

I think whoever made this doesn't full understand what people go to the beach for. I hate Dubai in general. I think like 80% of the buildings are unoccupied it's a huge dustbowl. You can't even enjoy the shape of the island when you're on it.

This is what happens when your surrounded by oil and actually drill into it.

Go to Youtube and search videos of Dubai. The place is so fucking sick...

umm i have to go there often coz of taxation reasons.. i have grown to hate it actually... the weather is horrible... + it looks like a giant waste of resources...! arabs think they can buy everything.. i guess they have been proved wrong..

dubai went bankrupt and was bailed out by abudhabi...

they dint make this public but it happened all right! try google if u wanna know more..

as a tax haven i think singapore is a lot better... a LOT better... but they charge u taxes after the first 150-200k in profits... they are ideal for shipping n other company's... Internet businesses are happier with No taxes! :)

as for suggestions.. i would really recommend Greece... its a amazing place... + its low cost + the gals there are AWESOME! :)

Anguilla was an awesome experience, one of the best places i visited. If you want a secluded adventure with some friends, this place is cool. It has 32 beaches, and is a small island you can basically drive around in under 2 hours.

Rent your own place. I stayed here it was secluded, most of the locals didnt know it existed Tequila Sunrise The Villa Anguilla They built another place called rum punch right next to it, so it might not be as secluded as before, but the place is clean, nice and all new. We had a housekeeper who came each morning cooked us breakfast, told us things we should do and then cleaned the house.

If you want to go to Amsterdam stay here Amrath Hotel Amsterdam - Home UK i think its the only 5 star hotel in Amsterdam, its like $150 - 170 euros a night, free minibar filled with booze, snacks, soda, etc.. Its like 3 blocks from one of the red light districts.

your best tax havens...
Malta or Seychelles

Secluded getaway desinations;
Angkor Wat
Bali
Koh Samui (try maenam)
Fiji - always wanted to go
Goa (India)
Tagatay (Philippines)

If your ancestors are of European descent you might find Asia more interesting as it offers more bang for your buck in terms of culture shock.

Quick note on cruises - the per person quotes they give you are usually based on double occupancy, so it's not cheaper to book a single cabin per person.

I have a company in Seychelles... nobody would open a bank account for that company!

those places are kinda tainted as tax havens.. hope u understand what i mean...!

i normally prefer HK and dubai! they are the cleanest!

traveling IS the way to happiness ...

I just came back from a trip to Russia and Belarus.. I love to travel to places people would never go to..these are the interesting places. I hate doing tourism...

The things you learn are simply eye opening...
