i am... this job wouldnt start until july '07 i believe, plus I told them my first choice office would be menlo park... ie, 5 minutes away.

keeping my options open.

b/c ibanking is cool, plus my sites run themselves and im bored, plus more $ = more fun. plus i want to eventually get into VC or PE or even higher up in the IB train.

had my 2nd interview, thignk it went pretty well... if i make it to NYC it's this Tuesday I believe... So I should know if I make it tonight or this weekend.
 
Well I haven't heard back so I am assuming I didn't make it to NY. My spy in the firm will find out today for sure. Will update then. I sad :-(.

If it doesn't work out don't worry about it too much. The most qualified person is almost never the one hired. There are all kinds of other reasons why people get hired for a particular job, besides being the most qualified or the best person for the job. Those are way down the list of reasons why most jobs/positions are filled.
