Suppose I really like the design of a webpage, is there a really fast way to basically duplicated the structure (look) of a page really quickly? Since I don't have much design experience, I'll outsource it, but I'm wondering

1) what I should say I want in the job post (website duplication? reverse engineering?)

2) how much should I pay since basically all I need is someone to copy the structure of a webpage and replace the word. i don't know if this is difficult, so i don't want to over/under price the job

Not sure about here but some of the members at templatep2p.com are pro rippers.

Shoot me a pm and ill check if I have any invites left.

Open that page in chrome then right click in right top corner (on wrench) save page as and that is it. Also some image wont be downloaded you will have to download it manually. 30 min job

Open the page on Google Chrome and press CTRL+ S then save it .
and wallah you got the whole page saved on your pc. You got a full duplicate of the site

i should also say that i don't want to completely duplicate it. i'll want to add some edits/additional features/take out some of the shit that's already there. should the designer or coder be able to add this stuff in relatively easily if i have a good idea of what i'm after?

Hey David, what I use is a FF plugin called scrapbook. Basically you can download the entire root folder, like the httml, css blah blah. You can download the jquery etc as well, but that normally takes a lot of time. I download the pages, then i edit the css files. Except I know a bit of jquery so then I rework and add in my own jQuery

(PS: it kinda sucks when the structures are in tables)

Hi guys!
I am also looking for the information on duplicating websites. While surfing the net, I saw a website design that was awesome and quite impressive. But I could not find any faster way to duplicate the structure of that design. Jaranen has explained a very easy way to duplicate that web page by opening that page in Google Chrome. But that technique can be used only for full duplication. If I need to copy some of its features, this technique cannot be used. So I need to know the duplicating websites technique that can be used for copying any single feature of any design as well as for the duplication of whole design.
