Really? You applaud him for writing it?
So I suppose you two were born with absolute knowledge of who is good and bad and how the world works, huh?I'm gonna join teh army caz I want moniez and shit. If you actually send me to war, den I gonna mad.
As far as I'm concerned, 18 year-olds that go fight for their country are IGNORANT CHILDREN who were basically BRAINWASHED to think it's a good idea and they'll be honorable and patriotic for doing so.
I can't hate on anyone that finds themselves in an Iraq war at that age... Stupidity is the product of our propoganda/education system. See John Taylor Gatto for more on this subject.
Of course he was a bumbling idiot at the time. We were all bumbling idiots at that age and stage in our lives, and in his case the timing was perfect for a "perfect wave" of propaganda to come flooding his way and influence his decision to enlist far more than usual.Any motherfucker who joins the Army and doesn't realize that he signed his life away, it a bumbling idiot... And then to write a letter bitching about it a decade later... Sigh!
Sounds like a good removal from the gene pool!
Just like you and I though, he'd learned a lot over the last decade. Don't hate on him now; he may have been far smarter than you at the time of his death.
