E-Cigs... Tried 'Em?

I smoked a pack and a half a day for more years than I care to admit. Bought a DSE901 in May of '09 and haven't had an analog since.

You get a pretty good throat hit with this model and I find it's usually satisfies me, even when I drink. On the very rare occasion that I need something more, I'll light one of hubbys cigars for him.

I don't smoke or promote this myself, but I wrote tons of sales copy for clients in this niche, and wondering a few things about ecigs from those who partake:

1. Are you really able to "smoke" the things inside public places?
2. Do you like the flavored cartridges?
3. Some brands sell colored vapor cartridges. Does the tinted vapor leave stains?
4. How long do the units last? I know there are different style units — some are meant to be more durable than others.

1. Yes. It's like blowing out water vapor. Orderless and dissipates in like a split second.

2. I have menthol because that's all they had. I can't taste the menthol. I haven't tried many, but my instinct so far is that the "flavor" is so subtle that it doesn't matter. This could be the brand I'm smoking, I dunno.

3. Like stains on your teeth? I doubt it, but wouldn't have the experience to know.

4. If you're talking about the cartridges, I went through 2 yesterday. I'd say they are close to the equivalent of a pack.

Just don't smoke the cigarettes. Simple solution.
