Easier way to make websites?

if you are looking for very simple drag and drop solution for making websites then you must try : Web Page Maker : Make your own web page easily!
If you're really looking for a point and click solution then maybe check out Artisteer & XsitePro.

Its cooling for persons looking for rudimentary blog sites or generic straightforward template websites. But it has no flexibility except you understand what your managing and the last thing i desire to manage is untidy with word press.
Haven't used it yet, but DrupalGardens.com looks quite cool. They allow you to export your website after creation, which is the main thing which prevents you from using Weebly and all that kind of shit.
The main downside is that your website will be Drupal, which is a pain in the arse to learn/maintain/develop.
Caveat: Don't blame me if you try this route, and end up wasting dozens of hours if it doesn't pan out for you.

You should use wordpress and lots of theme available for free thats the easiest way to make websites

Anyway listen man I understand your pain, but unfortunately you don't have that many good choices.
1. WordPress (you can make it do pretty much anything)
2. Dreamweaver (wysiwyg) but it's not easy to learn.
3. Have someone BUILD you a basic wordpress like system which does what you want and is very easy to customize the look of to your needs.
4. As everyone pointed out hire someone (blah).

OP - Everyone here is talking about Wordpress, and i have a couple of wordpress sites myself, but my question, is what do you plan to use the site for?
If you're create a single LP that you are going to blast it with traffic, I prefer static HTML. I realize there are Wordpress plugins that help accomplish this, I've just found it easier to work with a static page, and then create a bunch of variations for split testing.
If you decide to go this route, you could have someone design and code a handful of different template layouts where you could swap colors, headlines, images, etc.

Yeah basically its just a one page landing page, more or less a jump page. Nothing terribly fancy or something that needs a lot of functionality. AKA wordpress. I think what you suggested is the best route. Just pay someone to do some basic templates that I can work with in the future.
As far as everyone suggesting I hire a VA, I don't need a crap ton of websites to crank out. I'm talking like 1-2 a week and most spring about from an idea I get. So hiring a VA is overkill.
I think ill just do what Compound suggested although I will check out the other software posted in here and see if its something I could use. Thanks for the help guys.
Photoshop with Sitegrinder plugin . You wouldnt believe how easy it is to make a page that looks as good as your photoshop skills allow. Just label up each layer with the relevant tag, pull the lever and it spits out everything you need. You can always get busy with it in Dreamweaver or Notepad++ after if you need to finetune it,
(Don't spend a day learning to use it for html emails though, like I did. And then find out that you need to be using tables rather than CSS. Oh well...)

Bro if it's just a single page then I would have someone provide you with a "Dreamweaver" template. One that has editable areas with an attached CSS which you can customize.
If it's for cookie-cutter static pages, Artisteer can get a static template 90% done in 2 minutes. You just have to copy your html in the correct places.
You can also export the templates as Wordpress/Drupal/Joomla themes too, but they don't work as well as the CMS's own handmade themes.

Definitely plan on trying that PS plug-in. I'm not bad at coding but I hate doing image maps. Plus, I'm not fluent so I waste time looking it up all the time. Seems like I should be studying some W3 instead of reading forums lol. Well I just wanted to post. Haven't done so in a while
This shouldn't be that difficult. There are any number of ways to automate this task. Instead of coding from scratch every time setup your template with all the files and directories (even WordPress)that you will start w/ for each and every site. Drop your new text and images,and any customization and upload to server.
Or you could go hire someone to build you a bot to do it for you. Either way automation is the key. The lazier we get the more we need to depend on automation to grow.
