Eastern Europe - HERE I COME!

Where I stay gets really hot in the summer. To top it off, it is humid as shit!
Me and a mate of mine decided to fuck off to Eastern Europe for a getaway.
We made our bookings, applied for the visa impromptu and now all's done!

Here's the itenary:
3rd June to 5th: Prague (Czech Replublic)
5th ---> Prague to Budapest (Hungary) - planning to hire an SUV since we can't get flights and don't wanna use the trains/buses.
5th to 7th: Budapest
7th : Budapest to Eindhoven (flight), Eindhoven to Amsterdam (Netherlands) - sedan transfer.
7th to 10th: Amsterdam!!
10th : Amsterdam to Lisbon (by flight)
10th to 12th: Lisbon
12th: Lisbon to Madrid (Spain) - FLight
12th to 14th: Madrid
14th: Madrid to Barcelona ( by road. We rented a bmw z4 self drive airport to airport - paying less than 100 EUR a day!)
14th to 16th - Barcelona

16th - Barcelona to Ibiza (Flight)
16th to 20th - Awaken Ibiza!
21st - back to Barcelona for our flight back home!

I can't believe how insanely cheap Prague and Budapest can be! Atleast compared to the prices we pay back home (India) , just about everything is super cheap!
The other places seem fairly ok!
I'm looking to get piss drunk each day of the trip and just "surviving" till the end. (Yep, this vacation has been long overdue! )
From what I've read online, it's really the best place to blow some steam off.

If any WFers are going to be in any of these cities I mentioned above on common dates, we could meet!
If any of you have been to or know someone who's been to the places I mentioned, I'd love any insider info you can give me! We have very little time at each place so getting ripped off in tourist traps is a high possibility for gullible fuckers like myself. Places to visit, places/things to avoid- any kind of info would be helpful..

If you recommend any changes to the plan, please tell me! We're leaving on Sunday so we have plenty time to make adjustments to our schedule.
 


OP: I hope you'll return to this site with a travelogue and post lots of pictures. I've been casing Dubrovnik/Czech Republic for the longest time, and earned enough miles for a reward ticket to get to Europe free.

You're going to be in Barcelona while the Sonar music festival is on. Was that intentional? Sónar 13.14.15.16 June 2013 :: 2013 :: Barcelona's 20th International Festival of Advanced Music and New Media Art

WELL worth checking out if not! It is a great festival with tons happening.

Scope the arts and cultural center near the university a block or two off the Rambla for 5 stages plus a really cool interactive multimedia art show, record swap and trade show by day. Then head out to the massive trade and convention center on the outskirts of town for a 30,000 person 3 stage rave by night. Plus there's other shit going on around town in other venues. It's 4 days of mayhem.

I'd actually try to spend a few days longer in Barca if I were you to party and see the sights (hard to do both at the same time and catch any sleep at all) and then definitely extend your stay in Ibiza longer. Fuck 5 days with a day lost coming and going, you need at least a full week there.
 
I been to Ibiza a couple years ago. Charter a boat to formentera.. also check out the restaurant Km5 and the beach club Blue Marlin. Good shit.

My bad!
Our trip was planned differently earlier to include Poland and Slovakia as well. So we've been calling it the trip to eastern Europe. We changed plans later and added Spain and Amsterdam.

Anywhoooo.. yep yep yep.. Gay webmasters aren't known for their geo skills anyways.


Oh, and Canada IS overseas for me, I'm Indian! ;-)

Unfortunately, 17 days is longer than we initially intended to spend. It's kinda tough staying away from office for so long. Besides, when we applied for the visas, We declared our correct itinerary and got a Visa that's valid till only 2 days after the trip. So can't really make any changes now even if we wanted to without having to do some paperwork again.
You're making me feel bad about this now! You're making it sound like I'm gonna have fun but there's a tonne I'll be missing out on. :anon.sml:
Uggghh! Fuck that! Life's long, I'll be back :P

You should take a stop in Romania. Super hot slutty girls there. If you have money you can really get everyone of them.

Bloody hell I'm glad I'm Canadian. I can just mozy on into pretty near any country I want any time I want. Couldn't imagine having to constantly show proof of itinerary, financials, proof that I'm going to leave, etc.

Just got back from a VISA run today... through four immigration checkpoints and two trips to the embassy, not a single word was spoken or question asked, and I'm good for another 6 months.
