Reading these threads on arbitrage has gotten me interested, but the thought of spending a year or two, building arbi sites that could be shut down by adsense or Yahoo if they don't "like them", worries me.

So, is there anything to these mass blog creator programs? Do they work? Is it feasible to think that I could create 150-200 blogs in 90 days that'll throw off $100-$200/day in 6-12 months?

I know all you pro arbitrage guys out there will tell me it isn't worth it, it's too much work, blabla.. But there is NO doubt in my mind you guys are making a great living. :)

So, SHARE!

I think most people use those automated blog creaters to make blogs strictly for getting links and pinging search engines for their black hat sites. I can't imagine that those blogs would do very well for long standing alone.

BC - hmmm.. Mass producing blogs with ads on them, and directing traffic to those blogs so people can click the ads, is NOT arbitrage?

lmao.. WTF? I'm really baffled now..

Well, if you are buying cheap traffic to send to those blogs then yeah it is arbitrage. If you are getting organic traffic then no. Arbitrage is buying low and selling high (clicking on high paying ads). I asked Jon in one of the lightning rounds about using blogs and he said it was fine, it doesn't matter what your site/landing page is as long as it converts well.

brian - not sure why using a mass creator is needed, I use wordpress for my arbi now, 1 column, no links to anything else, I can create a page in 2 minutes, I have a domain with about 30 arbi pages in the blog, do it for free not sure why you would give anyone any money for a blog these days!

chris - thanks, that makes a lot of sense.

When you say you have a domain with 30 arbi pages, is it literally ONE website, with 30 different pages (arbi pages) ? Or one domain with 30 subdomain arbi pages?

I'm just learning, it's fascinating to me..

(ps) you can PM me if you're willing to answer, but how much income are those 30 pages producing? How old are they? What do you expect from them in the future? (i.e. flat? growth? slow decline?)

(pss) I know what arbitrage is, I use "the concept" in my other business.
"buy low sell high".. Sometimes, you don't even have to BUY, you just have to find a seller who's asking less than your buyer is willing to pay. And that presents an almost ZERO risk, as opposed to buying/betting on PPC traffic.

Hey chrislingle, im curious how your doing that. How do you have 30 pages on the same blog that dont link to anything else (each other I mean)? Btw - did you get my PM? :)

ok, doing this is not hard, you just take out all the links. I use the pages and a plugin so I can run adsense channels for tracking each arbi page.

Daidevo - I got your PM, I am not going to answer your question directly but to say this. Why not test both? set up another campaign going to the other page? When people here say the only way to learn and figure things out is by testing they don't say this because it is the easy answer. They say it because it is the only way to figure it out. If you don't know how to run a test then you shouldn't have passed highschool science. Go at it like a science experiment, test all the variables and you will find what works best. Spend the money. If you are not willing to take the risk and spend every penny you have then you are trying to get into the wrong business and need to quit now because you are going to fail!
just my $.02 - if you don't know how to run an experiement, google it!

What's to be baffled about?

Your question is like this: "A bigass bird with two legs and a long, ugly, gangly neck, which runs really fast and sticks its head in the sand when it gets scared, is NOT a walrus?"

Read up on the definition. ;)
