I just got this in my inbox from ECM. Never really used them much, but some of you guys may be interested to hear that ECM just got new funding. I guess "The Rockstar" hasn't put them down for the count yet. Here is their email:

Important Update - New ECM Funding
Hi,

I am happy to share the news with those have not yet heard: Elite Clicks Media, a leader in the performance marketing space has announced that it has secured a $6 million dollar funding led Pioneer Venture Fund. I want to personally thank every one of you that stuck with us through this transition and let you know that affiliate payments will now resume as normal. I realize there may have been some misinformation about ECM shutting down and starting as a new company. Simply put, my former partners have decided to start new companies and did their best to redirect assets and relationships to their new companies. I don't blame them for that and I wish them the best of luck in their new endeavors.
On to the good news... The influx of capital will be used to develop new in-house offers, help cash flow our super affiliates, and lastly launch a call center to monetize data from our soon to be released proprietary offers. I will remain the majority shareholder of the company so you don't have to worry about the core mission of ECM changing. I have always been driven by helping others achieve their goals and this influx of capital will give us so many more opportunities to do just that.
To your success,
Ryan Machara

Calling bullshit here. Never heard of that VC firm, can't find them online, no press release, and when the fuck has an affiliate network ever gotten funded. yeah, offermobi raised a round a month or so ago, but thats the exception and not the norm

I don't think they would flat out lie about receiving VC funding.

Also I think Hydra received funding at one point; not that it worked out for them.

who in the hell would actually send them traffic after they've screwed so many people out of their final pay checks.

Personally, with so many other awesome networks, I couldn't rationalize sending them 1 click.
