LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!

"You don't want to live like that... People following you around with signs for the rest of your life... That's no way to live..."

Oh jeebus I nearly wet myself... This is truly Austrian Economics' finest year ever.

Krugman is 90% politics and 10% economics. Always lots of unsubstantiated claims about the publice sector.

suppose this debate happened & krugman got destroyed... so? the people that follow krugman are 'foaming at the mouth' liberals. do you think they got that way by critical analysis of facts? or that they were swayed by logical arguments? it might make foaming anti-liberals feel good that they won a debate, but otherwise it'd be a huge waste of time, as is pretty much all republican v democrat blather.

^It would be hard evidence that Austrian Economics > Keynesian economics.

Austrians and business people alike will quote and mock Krugman and other Keynsians with clips of it until the end of time. "This is your best guy, he won the Nobel prize for this stuff. Why can't he win a simple argument against this nobody from the internet?"

It's priceless. Anyone with a third Brain cell to rub against the first two will figure out in time that Keynesian economics is full of crap. Who cares if the core zombies can't figure it out?

i think this is what i was saying. if they haven't figured it out already, they aren't going to, and if they have, they don't need additional evidence. seems moot. in other words, its only priceless in a useless argument, which is worthless.

It's not that simple though. Politicians use Keynesian economics to justify their actions. In fact that's the ONLY reason keynesian economics exists, it certainly can't stand on its' own two feet without being mandated into existence.

So as long as the sheeply masses are hearing politicians speak, they're listening to the preachings of Keynesian economics, even the republitards and right-wing extremists. They won't know not to believe it until it's pointed out to them that A) The politician who said that is basing that argument off of Keyensian economics, B) which is well known to be flawed, C) Here, look what their champion says about it and how easily that is destroyed in a debate...

So forget about the libtards... This will be a great tool of justification for the masses to see that the system itself is broken.

^^ fair enough. but you & i know well that people don't often get to point B, let alone C. the people who move down that alphabet are the folks like yourself who are informed & don't need explanation. the people that need learning are exactly the people that not only don't seek it but refuse it like it were a plague. sheep seek evidence to support what they want to believe & reject absolutely everything else, and a full 80% of this country are sheep. to your point, i guess the remaining 20% are open to suggestion.

Well, Krugman and Woods are economists, whereas Gore and Lord Monckton are not scientists. I guess it speaks volumes that two politicians are regarded as figureheads for global warming.

Lord Monckton vs. the scientists he cites (PDF file)

It speaks volumes that Al Gore's blabberings will net him millions of dollars of profits from his "green" investments. At least Monckton is open up for debate. Al Gore is hiding in his carbon unfriendly mansion.

Agree. However, as Gustave Le Bon noted, "While the truth may interest a few philosophers, the masses will always prefer dreams."

does it surprise you that politicians are nothing but vampires off their constituents? that's just how it is across the board, no need to call 'al gore' out. every single one of them is exactly like that, convincing the weak to be followers & then fleecing them dry. that's politics. its kinda like the late night infomercials, 90% of us know that Queen Chloe can't actually read fortunes, but Queen Chloe only cares about the 10% of the dumbfucks out there. i personally don't spend time trying to convince the dumbfucks that Queen Chloe is a fraud, i just let the dumbfucks live their dumbfuck life. i don't engage in political arguments either.

Economics. Science among sciences. Fuck all these truth seeking idealist fuckheads.

Pledged - my money's on Krugman ignoring this though. Pretty fucked but I doubt he ever accepts.
