Edit the PDF file.

Hi,
we know that PDF files are born not to get edited. But still I have some news that they can be edited. can anyone tell me if there is such software available?

I want to edit my salary slip.
 


I'm not sure, but I heard that there is this website where you can type in something, and then it searches the whole internet for you. Can't quite recall the name though.

Isn't that counted as forging/fraud?
 
Dear shadowcaster, I don't want to search whole internet. Google is there for that. i just want to edit my salary slip which is in PDF format.
I hope you understand what I mean.

What I mean is, if you would have just Googled "PDF editor", you would have found the aforementioned Foxit, that is literally the first result. Instead you come here and reveal that you're planning on editing your salary slip, and I can't think of one legitimate reason for doing so.

Just a guess...but he's probably applying for a loan of some sort and doesn't have enough income to get it.
 
OP: If you want a free alternative, do the following:

1) Download OpenOffice and install it.
2) Download this extension (Oracle PDF Import Extension).
3) Install plugin.
4) Pay your dues.
