Anybody else get this email from godaddy?

This email is to inform you that we have received a properly formatted subpoena for documents in the following civil action: Google Inc. v Pacific Webworks, Inc. pending in the United States District Court for the District of Utah and issued by the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, Civil Action No. 2:09-cv-1068. Our response to this subpoena may require us to disclose some of your personally identifiable information. Therefore, we are providing this notice as a courtesy to give you an opportunity to object to the subpoena. The only way to object to a properly filed subpoena is by filing an objection with the court in which the matter is pending. If we do not receive an objection notice within 2 business days indicating that you have filed an objection, we will continue with producing the documents requested and charge your account according to our registration agreement.

In order to obtain further information related to the pending litigation or a copy of the subpoena, you may contact counsel for the requesting party as follows:

Katherine Keating, Esq.
Holme Roberts & Owen, LLP
560 Mission St., 25th Floor
San Francisco, CA 94105

For other guys out there remember to get rid of the links on your old flogs if you are no longer driving traffic to them (in case the FTC, or Google, etc happens upon them).

...Also, in the future, stay away from GoDaddy.

Sucks to be you. Please keep us posted on what happens next.

Time to engage a lawyer and for your own sake, do not get caught in the contempt of court charges if you ignore this subpoena.

Contempt of court - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Definitely ask GoDaddy to provide a copy of subpoena, which hopefully you could share with us. If you can engage lawyer in 2 days to file an objection, give it a go.

I am also curious how much GoDaddy is going to charge you for these document requests.

I haven't promoted the offer for 6 months..

Hello friend,

Just because no promote google scam for 6 month no mean they no can sue 6 month after.

It like if scam money form person 6 month ago they still can sue you 6 month later.

Or if you kill person 6 month ago they still can arrest and put in jail 6 month later.

I shall pray to Lord Vishnu to protect you friend.

Good luck bro

How can you ignore the subpoena, all Godaddy is doing is telling you they're giving your information to the case lawyers who requested it. At this point there is nothing to do except file an objection

You did not comprehend it right. It's only if he wants to object to godaddy giving out his personal identifiable info should he need to reply or take action.

Also wondering if google was included in the domain name and if you wouldn't mind disclosing how much volume was done through this particular domain.
