Email Submits: Where do they do with the leads?

Immediately after the email submission they are sent through a path where they need to fill out incentive's offers to get the free gift.

The big ones are also some of the biggest email marketers in the space or broker out there data to big list managers.

After they put their email, the leads are sent to a form where they put their shipping info. After their shipping info they are asked several questions (a survey). They can see through the survey if the leads are interested in weight loss, credit reports, etc, and sell the leads to companies. After they fill out the survey, they have to complete a bunch of incentivized offers in order to receive their gift. And the companies make it almost impossible to actually get the gift. Not only that, but they also monetize the leads through selling the emails and mailing related offers to them.

Thanks that was very helpful

I know there's a sucker born every minute that would fill out these forms even if they don't actually receive any gift, but has anyone got "industry" numbers on how many email submits have been collected for say, 2008, 2009, 2010?

I'm wondering if this trend will go on or on the downswing?

The e-mails are then e-mailed e-mails to recover ROI from the e-mail submit from e-mail submit publishers publishing e-mail submits via e-mail.

When I was a younger lad I would do some of these sites with a prepaid credit card. My biggest wins were a $2k check and $1.5k check.
