EMD Heaven for the weathly?

From a strictly branding perspective I think its excellent. Just look at what "o.co" did. Many more examples. If you are not worried about Sep movement even better...you can say to customers "yes our website is reallycool.extension " ppl love that shit

Like when I was younger and called 1-800-BIG-TITS, I'll never forget that extension!

I want .nt so I can be a phagget like the .cm guy and squat on all the .net typos.

Absolutely useless. Search engines could give a shit about these phony tlds. Remember .travel? .jobs? .museum? See them come up in the search engines daily? #NOP! Hell even .mobi turned out to be mostly hot air.

You buy a TLD then it's on you to find enough mugs to buy the domains, AND AND AND... to raise public awareness of its existence because face it -- the domains' owners aren't going to survive on search traffic. You're gonna have to brand your shiny new TLD in a way that no other faux-tld has been able to.

Try telling a 60 year old woman to go to Fiji.travel and see if she doesn't surf to Fiji.travel.com. Look up the story of Tralliance and EnCirca and how they went belly up over the whole .travel thing.

We just got to the point recently where ccTLDs have value (not just one or two like .de and .co.uk). The rest of this is just a money scam and you're on the wrong end of it.
