Hmm do you have children? I've often wondered if you could set up business accounts with their SS#. It seems kind of wrong...but I can't find anywhere that it's illegal.

It's illegal whenever you use another's social, even the kids'.

I like the idea of pointing fingers at non existent entities. That's what I would probably do if I were in your shoes OP.

And it's pretty much up to you.. But if you're okay with a few white lies, write them with something similar to this:

I vote for this email. Push hard the competitor problem. I would never admit to any infractions being done by your own hand directly, once you do they will probably ban you for sure. Craigslist is against epn TOS, make sure there are no traceable active links on CL right away.

You have to be really careful these days with epn, they are hitting hard on the affiliates and have suspended many accounts.

Say you hired an SEO company to to help you build your rankings and they spammed your link on forums and craigslist and other sites and you tried to have all the links taken down, but a few slipped past you..

Ok the update:

They want some keywords that will lead them to my adwords ads...um..I'm pretty much an adwords failure... any advice?

edit: couldn't I just tell them that (per there instructions) I turned off all my campaigns so nothing would led them to my ads...or could I tell them that I don't want to disclose my keywords?
 
You need to recover from this.

First you need to tell them that you have a service that emails people when items go on sale on ebay. They list an item and your algorithm searches and emails them when its listed and it routes through your system redirects so you know if you need to send a follow up email or not.

Now say you get traffic to your site via PPC. Bid on some low volume/low cost keyword for items people have bought and point them to it.

You dont need to build the technology just a front end to show them.

And feel free to use that idea as a way to market the right way in the future :)
