everything involving email and my ecommerce site

Below is a summary of everything we need to do with emailing for our e-commerce site. I'm looking for the best way to achieve all of this with the least amount of headache.

  • Need to collect email newsletter sign-ups.
  • Need to collect the emails of visitors who sign up to receive our blog posts by email.
  • Need to collect and store customer email and name information.
  • Need to send out order confirmation emails after an order has been placed. (We're using PayPal Website Payments Pro for payment processing.)
  • Need to send out emails when customer's product ships. (We're using Webgistix as a fulfillment company)
  • Need to automatically send out promotional emails x months after order has been placed. (We're selling a consumable product and want to remind customers to re-up.)

Any thoughts?
 


Also in case of newsletter, the delivery should be managed depending on the user's registration date i.e. the user registering today should start receiving these at fixed intervals starting from email 1 as soon as he registers.
