very disappointing statement from someone who supposedly knows his stuff after having worked there :-/
 
Seriously, what is "good content"? And how in the world does a bot identify good content? Never really got what that meant.

If a post contains valuable information with mistakes in grammar, it still can be termed as "good content", but only the quality of the content is lowered. So really, what is good content?

Good content is about substance. Strive for what your traffic doesn't know they want yet, not what they are seeing everywhere else. Enjoyable, unique, but informative content. Your traffic needs to be so excited about your content that they share it with their friends and family. The secret is. . .

You don't understand how Panda works then.

Google doesn't use the bot to judge content, they leverage user behavior to create a heuristic for what websites produce content users think is good.

This. They use their very own Google Analytics to penalize you when you have high bounce rate.

Nothing juicy whatsoever to hang on to. More loads of crap from alleged ex-googlers.

met with the Adsense team earlier this year and walked away disappointed with all the ones I spoke to. They had basic web knowledge but that was about it. None of them were web types at all. I'm still scratching my head wondering how they got that job.
