Colts, Yes Adsense did kill my account (just for this site and not my others on the same account). Very upsetting. I'm trying the other services. Shopping.com kinda sucks so far. Any suggestions?

Icemail, BonsaiKitten.com was not mine, just is an inspiration. Of course, BK was a pure shock value hoax site while mine is actually satire and is intended to raise awareness of an actual problem. I do have other faux sites, but not BK.

Demonez, I just wish my wife thought I was as smart as you, Peta, and now, HOLY CRAP, the ALF think I am. I could use some collaboration on these sites if anyone is interested.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if you put a live chat on the site.

Have you looked at trying pay-per-impression ads? Not a lot of money, though if you have a lot of volume, might be worthwhile.
 
My question is...did you get paid from google at all for any of the revenue generated by this site?
 
Nacho Ninja, Adbrite looks good, really easy. We'll see what the compensation is like. All this bandwidth and then privacy measures costs money

Jason, yes I'm still expecting a check (and they're still up on my other sites). PPI wouldn't help now that I"m down to a couple of thousand views per day.

JRyan, yeah a chat room would've been cool. I could've hung out there and directed the conversation.

Russell, yes, I'm assuming most of those offers would meet with a crow bar and not kitties, but a few ...

I guess I'm on to the next site now. It'll be tough to top this.

You're talented. Come back once in a while to share more insights with us. Those emails made me say LOL out loud in my office, and I look like an idiot to them.

I'd like to point out to other WF members that did not see this trend. Even medias and advertising company does this... Take something that was a blast, 10 years ago, rework around that theme, and capitalize on it. Just like Stray did, with Bonzai Kittens.

LOTS MORE MARKETING OPPORTUNITIES OUT THERE PEOPLE!
