Excellent Use of a landing page

This is one of the best uses of a landing page i have seen
Blockbuster

Really good use of leading the consumer in. The page makes the user think they are getting a custom offer based on their usage.
 


I can see where this could be applied to other niches too..
ex:How much are you paying for car insurance? You might be overpaying!
(Insert numbers here)

Edit: What font is that on the landing page in the headline?

I'd be interested to see that as well. I'd like to have my faith reborn that good looking and functional can also convert customers, heh.

The client I'm working with now has one of the uglier landing pages I've seen and it literally runs in the 30-50% conversion rate on a daily basis (thousands of users) for financial PPC lead traffic with a full personal data set for the fulfillment. This page is definitely a very smart approach of guiding the user and it looks great, but if there's one thing I've learned in marketing it's that what I think is cool and what converts the customer are often two different things.
 
Wow, I'm running the perfect offer for a page just like this. Hell, Copeac has a similar offer, I'll build a page and switch it over just for this idea. Thanks Mike.
 
Hope this helps some people. one person i think got mad that i posted that link. I do not know who owns that offer, i found it while searching the net. Since it was public i felt it was OK to post and show others what i thought was a good approach. For all i know the page might not convert.

Sorry if it offends anyone and if the page owner is mad. No harm was intended, I just wanted to show others a slick idea that those who are smart enough can apply to other niches
 
Hmm...What's to prevent anyone from typing "blockbuster" into Google, MSN and Yahoo and checking out all the organic results on P1,2,3 and the sponsored results?

I'd think any affiliate worth anything would do that...

Yeah, i'm not sure how they are avoiding the quality score guidelines if they are advertising w/ Google... you'd need at least 400-600 words below the buttons.

nice! thx for the ss, i was able to see those screens i thought u initially meant the outcome of after the redirect, cuz i get redirected to smilies after the 3 free movies lol
