I've heard it's actually possible to avoid going to the warrior forum altogether.. Haters gonna hate.

most of the big guns of copywriting suggest that the longer your copy is the better it sells. actually they just want you to buy their service (long sales copy) which is like 20k per piece.

They should rename it to "Senior Folks Forum". Warrior forum is mostly burnt out worker drones (selling insurance or cars), middle age sub-urban Anglo-Saxons who want to make "monies online". Go ahead and game them - sell them those fucking ebooks on WSO for $17.

They're not "warriors", more like aging seniors with hip problems and mental delusions. Ever seen a bunch of over grown retards herded by a care giver at a park? That's a Warrior Forum meetup.

short copy pulls better than long copy over the internet. or maybe you can say i am ignorant :) but i tested the shit.

Man, some of you guys just sound ignorant.

If your time was worth shit you've already thrown away $65 talking about it.

Do I think it's a rip off? Probably, I dunno.

What really irks me is...

And you guys are senior members in a fucking marketing forum?

I don't care if you call it "affiliate marketing" or "internet marketing" it's all direct marketing. The 'net is a new medium, direct marketing has been around for centuries...

And getting involved with this stuff without paying attention to testing and results from the past is just fucking stupid.

Ever heard of Boardroom? Or Rodell? Phillips? They all do hundreds of millions a year. And there's a reason they take the time and spend the money to send a 40 page magalog instead of a 2 page sales letter to move health supplements. Nothing happens in direct mail without testing to back it up.

I've worked on everything online from biz opps to berries, and anytime you're asking someone to lay money on the line long copy (generally) out pulls short copy.

Study some Kennedy, Halbert, Carlton, etc...

Anytime I hear a "marketer" bitching about long copy it's like listening to a stripper bitch about dancing naked. Put some fucking clothes on if you want but don't expect to be able to pay your bills if you blindly ignore what's making money in the first place.

Comments like that make WaFo sound like the intelligent forum.

^ All depends on the model. CPA/opts are obviously above the fold - CPS = people research A LOT and in my experience I'll agree with Scott by a mile. Long copy pulls credit cards, short copy pulls low ticket and quick cpa moves. Exceptions to this are going to be there, so yeah testing is truly the only way to be sure to peak your sequence/offer and conversion master it. Wafo being a marketing forum full of people flipping shit to each other < long copy will win every time, then it's just a perpetual 'warrior see warrior do'.

It's not a "few bucks" over there. I can guarantee he has sold 600 -700 copies minimum, PLUS he has it set up like a forum, so the people that paid are probably answering and helping the other people that paid.

He's laughing all the way to the bank, and probably doesn't spend 30 minutes a day in his own coaching forum.
