Experienced SEOs Wanted

Markus is on the right track. I know a few guys, some of the top in the industry and yet they are huge pussies and can't find their way to do it on their own. I just dont understand how with skills like that you would ever want to work for someone but they do and they wouldn't have it any other way. We at WickedFire think differently that is all.

it's funny how some of you guys think all you need to get rich online is SEO skills. I ranked a lot of websites in the past that brought me zero, either because: I targeted the wrong niche, had horrible content, had designed the website poorly, didn't monetize it properly, etc...

To make money online today you need to be good at a bunch of different things: SEO, Content, Web Design, Web Development, Affiliate Marketing, Traffic Generation, PPC, Social Media, Outsourcing, Media buying, etc...

OP is just asking for someone good at SEO.

While you can certainly earn a lot of money as an SEO on your own, you can absolutely make a good living as an SEO in the corporate world. Plus, as an in-house SEO guy, you don't have to worry about dealing with clients, billing, and other bullshit. You don't have to worry about finding offers and dealing with legit third parties. You don't have to put any of your own $ at risk.

This of course coming from a guy that does SEO/internet marketing for an agency. It's fun working on all different types of campaigns, clients, and industries. I also like the guaranteed paycheck and being able to work with other smart, fun people in an amazing office downtown. I get paid pretty well, too. And nobody is stopping me from doing my own thing on the side...

To have the opportunity to work with someone like markus would be reason enough for someone to try this!

You say this, but there are several more senior members who work inhouse, like the member below.

I went inhouse/agency and work with some of the top SEOs in the industry. I have no problem going into the office everyday.

Markus, don't listen to naysayers ;) If I lived in Vancity and didn't have a job already, I'd apply. I am pretty sure my skills are at least on a mid level.

I don't want the salary but if you're open to compensation in the form of equity PM me with details ;)
