Exploring Hotel Affiliate Programs - Need Advice

I have a great "hotel" related domain that has been sitting around for a while now and I plan to develop it. I believe the best way to monetize is by affiliate programs...but I have no idea where to start.

What are some suggestions on geo-located hotel affiliate programs? My site is directed toward traffic for a major U.S. city.

Is anyone else making boatloads of affiliate revenue from hotel reservation programs?
 


CJ has a couple - including Marriott. Marriott converts pretty well for me on some local/city/town related websites.
 
If you have a shitload of traffic just throw Adsense on that bitch. I'm no Adsense expert but I remember reading hotels were like one of the top 3 earners.
 
Yeah, I thought about that, but I think the real money would come from affiliate programs. I might sprinkle a little Adsense throughout the content though. The ideal visitor would probably rather just book their reservation than click through on some promising hotel PPC ad.

Does anyone know of a way to integrate a reservation engine or booking engine into my site so I can retain the traffic without sending it off site?
 
booking.com and hotel.info - they both have in-house affiliate programs

booking.com will check your website and they may not let you in but hotel.info takes everyone and they still have decent amount of hotels listed.
