Hello everyone,

I'm doing some FB advertising, and in the "likes & interests" targeting category, if you enter multiple items (x and y), it will target people who like x OR y. Is there any way to target people who like x AND y? Obviously google has these capabilities and I would hope that FB will soon have them too.

I've been scouring the web and haven't been able to find any information on the topic. It seems this is an important topic that isn't getting any attention.

Also, anyone know if it's possible to target people who are interested in x but NOT y?

nope.

You would like to target people who are in to fishing AND Nascar, right? (for example). Not possible, although would be sweet.

If you were to target people using "fishing" and "nascar"... your ad would appear for a much larger pool of people, not a more targeted pool like I think you want to.

Google has this capability? what? FB Ads and Google Adwords are very different from each other so I dont see the correlation

What I meant by this is that Google has boolean operators in their search. +Nascar +Fishing -Dancing. Yes, it is a bit of apples-to-oranges, but just meant to get my point across.

ahhh, I see what you mean.

But yea, in FB you can't target people who are into fishing AND Nascar. That would be the fucking bomb if you could
