anyone here publishing to costume audiences by name? all my ads getting disapproved.

would appreciate any tips on that.

anyone used custom audience by name and got any tips?
 
Ads on facebook can be disaproved for various reasons 1. it has autoplay video or sound
2. if it's a direct affiliate link
3. If the landing page violates facebook ads terms in any way.
4. if your ad usees offencive language or has a remote chance in hell of offending anyone in the solar system.
there are plenty of reasons why an ad isn't aproved.
try to post the ad here including landingpage or before you create the next ad go to https://www.facebook.com/ad_guidelines.php and make sure you are not violating any of their rules
 
If you give some more details I may be able to give some advice.

- What are you trying to do?
- What are you trying to promote? Affiliate offer, what niche etc
- What are the disapproval messages?
 
The message was the usual "we don't allow to address people by name/sexual orientation bla bla bla" but I managed to handle the disapproved ads and get them approved by throwing some extra un-targeted emails in.

These are all aff offers in all areas (not gambling or anything adult of course, the offers are ok by FB) + some email lists.

I just want to know what are my options if a CC gets banned. Currently i'm using a friend's CC to be safe, but I know i'll get a ban in a month-two tops.

Any tips on that?
 
you'll need to use another one if it gets banned, i don't know i think this is kinda obvious.

but this doesn't get you banned.
you mean you make a custom audience for barbaras and target the ads hey barbara come here check out my .... etc? right?

i tried this once before, ctr's are very good (actually didn't have any problems with it being approved or not) yet in the end, segmenting your audience by interest, behaviour, age and location is much much more effective I believe.

The name example is just an example for addressing directly, there are of course many other ways.

I'm talking more about scraping groups/pages etc. If WF had a FB group and you'd see 'hello gay webmaster' that's kinda more CTRish even from an ad with your name on it. Anyway these ads get approved all the time but there's the risk of getting banned later on that i'm worried about & trying to prepare for it.

I know the obvious is to use another account / CC, I just don't know how to get a CC with a different name or bank account. I heard prepaid/virtual CCs don't work no more so i'm here fishing whatever information I can find on the subject..

This is true but only because it's much more scaleable than going laser.
