Time passes. But for a person to change his opinion about something, there needs to be a solid reason. Otherwise, even after 30 years, your dad will be your dad. You will stop calling him dad only if you get solid proof that he is not.

So, unless there is a reason, a spontaneous reversal in your stance means that you are a hypocrite.

You have never mentioned what prompted the total reversal. Instead, you are getting personal here, challenging other members to post their income, and berating them for typos.

Post the reason, if there is one.

Notice the massive gap between the two things you just mentioned? It's called time, and many things can change over time.

If I made that post on my blog and the next day posted this, it would be pure hypocrisy. Sure it looks hypocritical when you look at it like that too, but you're forgetting the element of TIME.

Or......you're not good at affiliate marketing?

Or.... I see no reason to answer to a poser.

But thanks, you could never know how good the chills going down my spine feel because of an actual Super Duper Affiliate talking to me. I'm so popular!

eek...uber...you have a serious reputation problem.

It's pretty simple, speak what you mean and feel rather then trying to impress people. This way it's always your opinion and it doesn't change.

You can use the excuse of time but to have such drastic changes in opinion make your posts hold little value. It just seems like you write what you do not mean.
September 08 is also not enough TIME.

Why is it that people hate Goober so much? Never understood. I am probably missing something lol

thread fail.

not to mention your whole premise to fb is full of fail too.

"We're talking about such a small percentage of unhappy Facebook users..."

based on

"People see around a 0.10% CTR on these ads, maybe a little higher. So out of the 0.10% that click, probably 2% of that number actually sign up for the product AND complain about it AND want a chargeback on their credit card."

fb doesn't care about the dummies signing up for these offers - they care about the users who are sick of seeing these ads and complaining / leaving fb as a result.

Yeah, the reason was the realization over TIME that business is business and morals and ethics play to a CERTAIN POINT.

I've already stated that I'm not running acai, that was just my argument to Facebook dealing with rebills. I do believe in the rebill model though, it's successful as hell and you can deliver a product that will work if the BUYER MAKES IT WORK. This can be a diet/exercise program with a rebill (which I have mine like 75% finished, just too bogged down to finish everything) that legitimately teaches people how to lose weight. If they don't want to follow the product and not lose weight, that's their own fault. But it saves them the $100-200/month they'll pay with a personal trainer (as long as the rebill isn't jacked up like a lot of acai products are).

There's other things that can be rebilled that are worth the price, as long as the consumer does their part. This shit is buyer beware too, I was just ignorant for not thinking this people were TOTAL fools for submitting their CC info when the terms are right under the submit button. Again, rebills CAN be compliant and overt about the fact that it's a free trial with rebill. Not every rebill is like Crush LLC. There are rebills that charge a lower cost, have more overt terms, have US based call centers that actually pick up, etc. But they're still profitable as hell because in general people just ignore the shit and submit their CC at will.

Who are you to decide what's enough time?

Paul,

You mentioned diet/rebill ads specifically in your very first post. And right now, the diet ads running at Facebook are mostly Acai/Colon ads. So, it is impossible to believe that you had some other obscure diet niche in mind. You obviously were talking about Acai/Colon ads, which you so viciously repudiated in your old post.

Reason: You were lured by the profit margins, and changed your moral and ethical stand. Nothing wrong with that; the only problem is, you took a public and visible stand against all that not so long ago.

Will you go back to your original post and update it saying you changed your mind? If not, people are going to perceive you as a hypocrite, whether you like it or not.

I don't hate him. I don't even know him.

But he doesn't seem to remember that on WF most of us are going to be quick to criticize and tear down other people. And because of this, he doesn't seem to realize that he needs to take hate comments in stride without getting all defensive like some kid. And the fact that he gets like this makes it so fun to hate on him.

After actually thinking about it though, I agree that 5 months is more than enough time to come to a new realization on personal ethics. To excel as a marketer you have to be lax on your ethics - otherwise you need to consider a new career choice. Everyone's going to think about this at some point.

lol I love picking fights with WF people, shit would be so fucking boring if I just came here and acted like a legit person. I love arguing too.

But changing my opinion so rapidly creates REACTIONS. Reactions draw attention, and attention is key when it comes to branding. I'm a hypocritical newb lord, but it's something to remember me buy. Who gives a shit if it's bad, it's attention. And the more attention fuckwads like you AND noobs draw to me, the more connections I make.

Hard Knox Business Skool 101 bitchez.
