Facebook Fraud Traffic

certainly wasn't anything intentional by facebook. just a result of the fact that they use their l.php script for blanking referrers before sending them to outside addresses.

so for their ad system they just need to check that the url's haven't been already blacklisted or use a script other than l.php for redirecting.

I think FB automatically blocks sites it deems to be affiliate sites, i couldnt even put a link to naughtyornice.com in my friend feed, i got that same response that Kevin shows in his screen shots. They probably have a list of URL's they auto block

Wait people still link directly to the landing page without going through a redirect like p202? If you're dumb enough to do that do that you deserve this shit.

I saw this happen to me when I previewed my destination URL a few times, first saw it a few weeks ago. And this was to a php redirect.. Though the weird thing is I never missed out on any clicks, seems as though I was the only one who got that error page?

For anyone suspecting that this has happened to any campaigns, try the Preview Link thing.

The script probably uses sessions so a php redirect wouldn't matter, though I'm sure there is a way to code around it. Double meta refresh would probably do the trick.

If people spam raw affiliate links in groups etc then it's reported abusive. If you then try to direct link then this shit happens. Fuck people.

Affiliate sabotage.

The reported link should require 500 nega-likes from 500 different people, then it should get reviewed, not disabled.

There are many pages on facebook dedicated to stopping "bad ads" or "scam ads". Some of these pages have a few hundred to a few thousand "likes".

Getting 500 or more different people to "expose" some of these ads probably isn't a problem.

Fucking Facebook!!! same shit happen to me today, traffic rolling and money spent fast just to get a stupid message, that's fraud.

Yeah, but if anyone sues Facebook. Then they'll go back a few years to when your attorney got 'Facebook tagged' in a photo with some random sluts after too many body shots at a place called Tequila Masqerade... and then blackmail him into oblivion.

Your attorney better be from the bible belt cuz... Facebook OWNS privacy!
