So I have 2 facebook accounts one is my personal the other is for advertising on the advertising one I have 0 friends, and all I use it for is to advertise but somehow facebook keeps recommending me friends, and the friends they recommend are affiliates ?? how the fuck if I have 0 info, how do they know we have crap in common or what ever they use to recommended that ?

It puts up Wes from 202, Ian Fernando, and others in the aff industry.

Does this happen to anybody ? do they now recommended people that also use their advertising platform lol ?

1) Someone that has your email address recently signed up and/or used their inbox tool.
2) Facebook found your email/contact information
3) Facebook figured you may know each other.

Voila.

Edit: Or aim/msn instead of email.

possible but never gave them access to email / aim / any of that, I probably have a case here to sue lol jp

I'm not sure you quite followed.

1) Joe signs up to facebook.com
2) Facebook offers to import existing contacts
3) Joe enters his aol.com login information
4) Facebook goes looking at his contacts
5) It finds monchi954
6) Since Joe has monchi954 as one of his contacts, Facebook figures you two know each other.
7) It displays those suggestions to monchi954 and others
8) monchi954 freaks out and posts on wickedfire.com

By the way, why are you surprised the recommendations are mostly affiliates. It's perfectly logical, you mentioned yourself it's the account you use for advertising.

9) gopher helps monchi954 understand what happened.

10) Friend recommendations may be based off of parts of the site you frequently visit. You're often in /ads/. They're often in /ads/.

11) There is no 10. It ended at 9.

(No, they don't do that. Why would they. That's like recommending other strangers to you because you both were looking at tranny porn on tube8.com)
