k so i don't know what was going on but facebook didn't charge me for about a week.. then today they try to charge everything all at once.. though my bank account has well over this amount of money in it the debit card attached to it only allows 5k per day.. nor do i have any other cards that allow over 5k charges at once..

sorry not a baller with a blackcard like most of you...

anyhow anyone had this problem? hoping they'll split up the payments or something cause if i go a day without marketing its like wasted money..

someone who isn't a total moron would've called the number on the back of their debit card and talked to a customer service rep and asked them to raise the limit on their card before posting this.

what is the point of trying to throw in that low blow? so you feel cool about yourself?

it was first thing i attempted this morning and its not possible.. thanks for your help though..

Not to mention calling FB. Stop hoping that they'll split the charges and ask them to do it.

Ive had this same problem although it was when my daily spend was above any card I had even though I had the money and it's frustarting as all hell. I'd say suggest these options

Call your bank and try to get them to let the charge go through if you have the money in the account

Find a friend with a card that has that limit and cut them a check for it, if it's a rewards card they should be plenty happy, this is the route I took

Talk to FB about it, this is the worest option since they will take awhile to get back to you

Hard to believe your bank wouldn't help you out on this one.. I called mine back in the day and now all my business debits have ridiculous high daily limits.

yep good luck, I know exactly how you are feeling right now and it really sucks. FB will take days to help you out in my experience but hopefully you get lucky if you have to go that route.

as far as your bank goes, yeah it's gay as hell but I've had the same experience. You can of course switch banks and get a business account, wacovia will give you 25k a day and even 100k a day once you are really balling(that's who I switched to from BofA) I know but that option once again takes time while you are missing out on money that could be made

it sucks dude and you have my sympathy because I have been in the exact same situation, I was just lucky enough to have a friend that could help me out

I experienced the EXACT same thing this morning. Woke up to all sorts of text messages and email alerts about fraudulent activity. Facebook tried to charge $16k to my business debit card which was declined due to it being over the $8500/day threshold. Bank of America has been reluctant to offer any resolution aside from using credit cards in the future.

I knew it would eventually bite me in the ass for not listening to everyones advice on getting a high limit rewards CC but I've been trying to build as much credit as possible before applying again. Got declined by Amex business 6 months ago for being personally over extended with a new vehicle, personal cards, and lack of a lengthy enough credit history (being 23 yrs old.)

Still trying to get it resolved, applied for B of A's World rewards card today but it's gunna take 7-10 days.

Shitty situation, probably gunna call up a few business owning buddies to pull me out of it. Waiting on a response from Facebook to.

No bitterness here, just working on overcoming the situation. Obviously not making much when one of your accounts are locked up.

I'm a happy fucker though, as always. :D

Bank of America should be able to remove your limit for up to 48 hours but I think you need to speak with a supervisor in order to make that happen.

My bank raises my limit on the spot whenever I ask them to, even permanently. Maybe that's just a perk of being with a smaller bank?
