Fake Forum Threads a Good Idea?

Hey, all. new to posting on the forum but been mooching about for a while here.

I'm just wondering what success people have had with fake forum threads to sell stuff or increase sign ups? Do many people use this method, i'm selling sub £10(~$20) products, but getting them to make a free account with their email/password is what i'm after so i can then i email them some sales shiz later.

Any tips?
 


I've done this in the past two different times but it wasn't to sell shit it was to start a community. I created like 30 accounts and basically spent a week talking to myself on 30 different accounts. Eventually the traffic started coming and my astroturfing paid off.

You could always hire "paid posters" but the fact is they suck shit and probably don't know jack shit about your niche. So the best way is to put the fucking shit work in yourself and get it done correctly.

I know this pretty much has nothing to do with your question, I was juts in the mood to tell that story.

Are you talking about using Xrumer to make your forum look more active?

Now, if you are just downright lying about what products you are offering, then no. However, if you are having Xrumer make some threads asking questions about your products that others would ask anyway, that probably wouldn't be that bad and make the forum look more active.

I'm not going to read the forum rules, i cant be fucked. Until i know i like the forum i'm not going to bother either. I'm into giving people shit though so plus 1 so far though.

And if you dont want me to post a tits icon, don't force me to pick one at all. If i have a choice, i'm going pick tits. but that's just me.

Yeah i've got a forum with about 3-4 hundred threads and its quite active but if its from the same domain its probably not going to be as effective as a marketing tool, they're guna smell that shit a mile off and conversions are going to drop.
 
Anything fake is going to work.

Fake things are copies of the real thing. If the real thing is credible and your fake copy looks like it... then obviously it's going to convert you stupid shit. Last time I checked it's not very legal to copy things with the intent of deceiving people for quick profits but If you want to make a quick buck and not worry about the long-term... go for it.

Hopefully you either know how to stay under the radar or you have a legit business on the side.

If you had taken 5 minutes to read them, you'd know that you will be fucked for misuse of the boobs icon.

You come here for advice, but yet you don't want to respect and get to know the community. Something tells me you won't be lasting long in the IM'ing world.
