I will make this comment on the shooting, and that will be it. Many reasons, the largest because I don't care.

Why were there so many kids at a midnight showing of such an intense movie?

No one rushed the shooter? There were members of the armed forces there, aren't they "heroes"? The few, the proud, the cowering under their seats.

Who throws a 4 month old baby? Shove to the floor? Perhaps, but throws and ends up multiple feet from you? What the fuck? And then who runs away without their kids, but ever worse decides that the crying of the child will attract the shooter and then USES the child as a decoy to make an escape?

Anyone taking a kid to a midnight showing is a turd. No matter what movie!

No one rushed the shooter? How do you know? And if they didn't, maybe, just maybe because he reportedly had a AR15 with a extended 75-100 mag full of bullets being able to just fire away?

I'm sure you have plenty experience rushing a enemy position, UNARMED facing automatic weapons fire from a distance of maybe 10+ yards, teargas (or smoke) in front of you, loud movie sound in your ears and exploding bodies all around you. This in a span of maybe 30 seconds without any prior warning.

P.S. Reports have it that the most trained guy in the theater (9yrs service in the Navy) to do something was covering his loved one with his body pushing her next to the concrete, saving her life by catching bullets. Cause that's what you do when you are unarmed and the other guy is firing bullets at you.
