It's going to get harder and harder to obtain links that carry value and its going to be more expensive
Yah, probably most interesting part of the video. But same old BS from Google, will wait and see what actually happens. Reality is they'll close something off, and something new'll start working again.

Yea pretty much everything he said was prefaced with a little bit more effective or 'less likely to appear'. Not like they are claiming they have shut down spam by any means.
All depends on how often this stuff runs too.
He did say it was going to be larger than the original Penguin update though, and that one affected quite a bit.
I'm sure serps will be messed up post penguin. But will do some anchor tests as last one seemed to be defeated just from that, interested to see what else they can bring.
