I'm looking for more interested websites related to coding and such.

I frequent the syndk8.net forum and nettuts.com. I even have a plus account with nettuts because I think it's a great resource. Contempt.me also rules for motivation about automation stuff.

What do you check often for tutorials to build up your skillset?

the vault.bz

black hat world this site

elbitz.net I think there are free invites

Is it just me or does reading ebooks off the screen suck for working with photoshop, web design etc. I need a physical book or I might start printing pages and creating a cheap binder from online tuts

I used to go to CSS-Tricks, he's got screencasts on there about how to work with multiple things like CSS, JQuery, Image Galleries, Custom Checkouts, Chat Rooms and loads of stuff.

When I started learning a little PHP I used to go to PHP VIDEO TUTORIALS FOR WEB DESIGNERS. Last time I went there, he didn't have too many videos but looking at it now it seems like he's created more. The guy who runs that also runs WEB DESIGN TUTORIALS, TEMPLATES AND WEB DESIGNER RESOURCES - KILLERSITES.COM, if I'm not mistaken.

I'd post more but I'm not sure what kind of coding you're really looking to learn.
