My first post - looking for a bit of help.

On Facebook they are recommending I bid between 0.40-0.50 per click. I have read in a few threads that I should bid lower than this. Was wondering if someone could give me an idea of how much lower to go.

Cheers

In order to get any level of consistency from Facebook you must first
1)Sacrifice a goat to Mark Zuckerberg and the Venture Capitalist gods that keep him alive
2)Sign a blood oath, pledging that your landing page will at no point change. Please note that this is enforcible by the angel of death himself.
3)Refer 5 ignorant local advertisers to blow their money with ridiculous CPCs, to compensate for the lower CPCs you desire.
4)Go to Silicon Valley. After leaving the airport, travel 5 miles north. This will take you to a hat store. In that hat store, buy a beret. The owner will know what this means. He will give you a URL. This URL is the secret URL from which bids are lower, and not padded by Facebook's greed.
5)Once you have that URL, do not go to it immediately. First, drive out to their central office with 500 envelopes, each containing your user ID and $400.
6) At the security code entry pad, enter the CPC you desire, substituting the number "8" for the decimal point.
7)After entering the code, leave the envelopes and run.
8)Wait 48 hours for processing, go to the url. If the background color is green, you've been accepted.
9)???
10)Profit!

Damnit, I substituted the * for the decimal point. No wonder my suggested bids are high!

thanks for the help guys - i skipped step 1 but signed a blood oath, purchased a beret, and got my top secret URL. The other steps are just beyond me.
