Fed Up with Firefox...What Should I Switch To?

Opera 10 looks good from the little I've seen of it; maybe even good enough to switch.

Not a fan of how Opera handles a lot of things. Love it for the one time I needed a full-screen browser on Mac OS (FF & Safari can't do it... stupid shit), but it absolutely sucks when trying to use most Google web apps - just doesn't do things properly.

I'm also frustrated with Safari. Chrome is nice sometimes, but I stick with Firefox for the most part - had some freezing issues a while back, but created a new profile & things have been fixed since then. Try creating a new profile & readding your extensions - see if that helps.

I have no idea why so many of you are paranoid of Chrome. Google totally changed the entire way it communicates with its servers almost a year ago. If you're THAT paranoid, just use Chromium.

Both Chrome and Chromium have been looked over hardcare by thousands of coders... Chrome only talks to Google if you enable the option now (or send crash reports).

Paranoid bastards.

I've been getting sick of the way FF does tables as it loads. It's constantly shifting the whole webpage as it loads often. This means if you just want to click on somehting really quick before the page is fully loaded you'll often end up clicking the wrong thing.

I hate that.

IE loads table sizes properly before loading graphics and other stuff. So things don't shift around all crazy. I've been thinking of switching to IE too.. but just lazy to make the change.

Just a few days a go i finally got sick of FF freezing up, moving incrediby slow and hogging up the system. I've been using mostly Opera but i'm going to give that iron a go...
