Fighting Isolation in Internet Business?

I've started going to the gym. I go every day, with every other day being my weight days. I get a good 30 minutes of cardio, some weights, and after a while people start recognizing you. It helps to be damn sexy like I am though :P

I goto a uni gym and I almost never see the same people. I go 4 times a week at the same time everytime. :'(

then again I meet people in class so w/e.

Go to nightclubs and lounges at night with friends.
Don't focus exclusively on affiliate work. If you start a one-man company doing some contract work for small businesses (SEO/development/design etc.), you will be forced to interact with people during the sales process, go out to networking events etc. and will end up having meetings all around town with really interesting people. Even if it doesn't bring you the big bucks, it will always give you fresh people to talk to and different business problems to tackle.

I want to thank all those who have contributed to this thread. I start going to gym next week. And maybe I will get a part time job in a cigar store. :D

Even after turning into an Internet Success Guy Business, I got a part time dayjob at a cigar store to make sure I get out and talk to peeps and don't get trapped inside all day. It has worked out great so far.

Assuming you're into cigars, that's a great idea. I think that a lot of people who believe they would quit work if they could afford it would eventually find themselves gravitating to some kind of fun-but-unprofitable job, where they could enjoy themselves and meet people into the same kind of thing. My thing is a motorcycle shop, which I'll probably open when my kids are out of the house, not because it would make money (it almost certainly won't) but just to hang out around other bikers, get my hands dirty, maybe build the occasional ugly-ass custom job for kicks.

A job related to your hobbies probably adds a decade or more to your life, just from the enjoyment of it.

I call my ex-gfs and ask them "do you wanna have a good fuck?"

Funny, my answer was breed.

Same perspective, different end. With 2 boys doing tons of activities and a wife that travels a couple days a week I am fighting for time at the computer some times.

So what I am saying is that a good fuck can lead to many other distractions...

Get to know your neighbors. I was surprised to learn that both neighbors on either side, work from home too.....you never know!
